Centralizing Data Sources Across Your Entity
Part of the challenge of dealing with data stems from the fact that as organizations evolve, their sources of data can multiply. Multiple data sources can result in a host of complications and inefficiencies, ranging from inaccurate or duplicated data to incorrect filing of compliance information. Centralizing data sources across your entity can assure that each division of your organization has access to a common source of trusted data, allowing for increased productivity, optimized collaboration, and more confident decision-making.
Integrate Entity Data with other 3rd Party Services
Entity management software is valuable to an organization as it allows the centralization of data across an organization. This single data source is easier to maintain and keep clean, providing you with data that is verified and accurate across multiple systems. Blueprint OneWorld has the ability to import a large amount of data, export it, and synchronise it with other applications your organization is already using. Data Exchange Management (DXM) provides a connection between Blueprint and legal, HR, tax, finance and other third-party systems, which keeps your data centralized and consistent across various platforms.
Data Exchange Management can be used for creating, updating and exporting many types of data such as individual and company information, information on appointees, shareholders, corporate relationships (etc.), in addition to information stored in User Defined Fields and Data Libraries. For example, many of our clients use Blueprint as the “single source of truth” for their data, and then integrate that information into HR systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft. This ensures that names, addresses, titles, and other critical details are consistent across all systems, and only a limited number of people have access to create or edit the data.
As with other activities within Blueprint OneWorld, each data transfer is logged into Blueprint’s Audit Trail, including key events and any possible errors or issues. This allows your administrative team to confirm changes and investigate any questions that arise. Additionally, data feeds can be set to run manually, or you can choose to automatically update your systems based on a set schedule. Third party integration saves time and mitigates risk as transfers are completely automated to ensure the highest level of consistency and data accuracy.
